Born in a not-well-to-do family with a gambler as my dad who gambles all his children's life savings. My mum is a hard-working and nice lady who works really hard just to pay off the family expenses. She even tries to give the best to her children. How nice can that be? At least, things are changing for the better. The gambler is trying to quit gambling. But still, my family monthly income is just $3.5k.

Some people are born with great looks, brains and have a nice family background(rich/smart parents). They are pampered and being treated like kings and queens(and really behave like kings/queens). On the other hand, those who weren't borned with good looks, brains and don't have a good family background, can't afford the luxury some people can.

Take me for example, my friends are going Bangkok and asked me along. So I decided to join them. But my overall trip(5 days) budget was $500SGD(includes air tickets and stuff), which is still affordable. On the other hand, someone who is going there(for a week or longer) as well, daily budget is to be $250SGD(excludes air tickets and stuff). And that someone, who of course have rich friends as well, kept comparing me and my friends to hers. No matter how many times I tried to explain, someone is still unable to understand. Through this is a great example, I really hope that someone would really understand the situation that I'm in.

To make it clearer. Someone is going to spend at least(7days x $250SGD) $1750SGD in Bankok, which is half of what my family income. And mind you, this sum excludes air fare, accomodation and meals.

Life is just plain unfair. Sighs.
